National Border Patrol Council - Local 1613 (San Diego, CA) is deeply saddened to report the death of San Diego Sector Border Patrol Agent Jarod Dittman. Agent Dittman was traveling on Otay Lakes Road when the Jeep he was driving rolled over. The cause of the vehicle accident is being investigated by the California Highway Patrol.
Agent Dittman entered on duty with the U.S. Border Patrol on March 5, 2007. He was assigned to the Brown Field Border Patrol Station.
